Refund Policy
Effective Date: August 10, 2026 | Last Updated: August 10, 2026
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to JD Tax Pro Software training programs, onboarding services, digital materials, mentorship, software access, business resources, and related services, unless a separately signed agreement states otherwise.
2. Review Before Purchasing
Customers must review program descriptions, pricing, eligibility requirements, schedules, technology requirements, included services, and refund terms before submitting payment. Enrollment constitutes acceptance of these terms.
3. General Refund Rule
Because programs may include digital materials, immediate administrative work, onboarding, reserved class space, software configuration, private resources, and business services, payments become nonrefundable after any of the following occurs:
- Digital materials are accessed
- A portal account is activated
- Software setup begins
- Onboarding begins
- A class or orientation is attended
- A recording is accessed
- Private templates or resources are delivered
- Application assistance begins
- Individualized services begin
4. Requests Before Services Begin
A customer who has not accessed any materials, attended any session, received any resources, activated software, or begun onboarding may submit a written request for review. A request is not automatically approved. Refund decisions will consider the purchase date, program terms, services already performed, third-party costs, administrative work, and applicable law.
5. Nonrefundable Items
The following are nonrefundable once provided or incurred:
- Government filing fees
- PTIN fees
- Fingerprinting fees
- Background check fees
- Tax software activation fees
- Bank enrollment expenses
- Third-party processing fees
- Custom services
- Completed consultations
- Completed onboarding
- Downloaded materials
- Accessed recordings
- Templates and marketing resources
- WISP resources
- Promotional purchases
- Late fees
- Services already performed
6. Promotional and Discounted Enrollment
Promotional pricing, limited enrollment offers, coupons, and discounted registrations remain subject to the same refund conditions as standard enrollment. Expiration of a promotion does not entitle the customer to a refund or price adjustment.
7. Missed Classes
Missing a live class, orientation, consultation, or appointment does not automatically qualify the participant for a refund. When available, JD Tax Pro Software may offer a recording, rescheduling opportunity, credit, or transfer at its discretion.
8. PTIN and EFIN Decisions
Denial, delay, suspension, rejection, or non-approval by the IRS does not automatically qualify the participant for a refund, because JD Tax Pro Software does not control IRS decisions. This applies when the education, assistance, resources, or services described in the program were provided.
9. Third-Party Decisions
Software companies, banks, payment processors, government agencies, and other third parties make independent decisions. A third-party denial or service interruption does not automatically create a right to a refund from JD Tax Pro Software.
10. Payment Plans
All payment plan obligations remain due according to the signed agreement unless JD Tax Pro Software approves a written cancellation or adjustment. Stopping participation does not automatically cancel an outstanding balance.
11. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
Verified duplicate charges or clear billing errors will be corrected. Customers must report billing errors promptly and provide the transaction information needed for review.
12. Cancellations by JD Tax Pro Software
If JD Tax Pro Software permanently cancels a paid program before delivering the purchased service, the company may offer a rescheduled program, comparable service, account credit, transfer, or appropriate refund based on what was already delivered and applicable law.
13. Transfers and Credits
JD Tax Pro Software may approve a one-time transfer or account credit instead of a cash refund. Transfers and credits are not guaranteed, have no cash value, and may have an expiration date.
14. Chargebacks
Customers should contact JD Tax Pro Software before initiating a chargeback so the company can review the concern. Submitting false information, claiming a legitimate transaction was unauthorized, or using services before disputing the payment may result in account suspension, termination, collection activity, and submission of relevant records to the payment processor. Nothing in this policy limits a customer's lawful billing dispute rights.
15. How to Submit a Request
To submit a refund request, send the following information in writing to [email protected]:
- Full name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Program purchased
- Purchase date
- Amount paid
- Transaction number
- Reason for the request
16. Processing Time
Requests are reviewed individually. A written decision will normally be provided within 10 business days after receiving all required information.
17. No Oral Changes
Refund promises or policy changes must be confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of JD Tax Pro Software. Verbal representations are not binding.
18. Applicable Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable federal or state law.
